EIMUN 2024

With the theme "Where Diversity meets Diplomacy," the Everest International Model United Nations (EIMUN) was held on June 24- 28, 2024, in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, Nepal – the City of Temples and Heritage.

The participants of EIMUN 2024 are the youth aged 18-30 from Central and South Asia, who are passionate about diplomacy, international relations, and making a positive impact on the global stage. In the conference, the young leaders received the opprtunities to engage in thought-provoking discussions, network with their peers, and gain valuable insights that will empower them to become the next generation of global influencers.

EIMUN 2023

With the theme "Where Diversity meets Diplomacy”, Everest International Model United Nations 2023 bridges diverse communities and cultures to create inclusive solutions for global challenges. Making diversity its greatest asset, this grand program will host 200 energetic youths from 14+ countries from South and Central Asia and beyond to participate and engage in constructive debate to solve major global issues. The conference will be held in the heart of the Himalayas - Nepal in the capital city of Kathmandu from 10th to 14th July 2023.

As the 8th edition of EIMUN, it is the final stop in the Road to EIMUN 2023 campaign. After hosting 7 provincial level Model UN conferences, now we are ready to embark on our largest event - "EIMUN 2023". This conference will become a platform for many youths to reflect not just on their debating skills, but also to unlock skill sets including networking, making connections, establishing a cultural exchange, making memories, and ultimately refining diplomacy at large.

EIMUN 2022

The theme for EIMUN 2022, was “engage, educate, empower”. Making diversity as it’s greatest assets, this grandly hosted program where 200 energetic youths from 10 various nations participated were engaged in debate to solve major global issues.

Making it’s landmark as 7th edition of MUN hosted across various provinces, Through with some tough challenges due to the pandemic, EIMUN 2022 had participation of 200 youths acting as delegates, participating from various south Asian, and central Asian nations . EIMUN 2022 allowed many youths to reflect their debateful skills, hidden knowledges and experience challenge, learning, growth and achievements.

EIMUN 2019

As an opportunity for Young Leaders to grow into Global Changemakers, EIMUN 2019 hosted 200 young Diplomats from the entire Indo-Pacific Region and beyond to provide a holistic atmosphere were some of the major international agendas of world concern were discussed to come up with an innovative set of solutions. Diplomats from around 22 countries had participated in the 5 day long residential conference to where participants were engaged in activities beyond the committee sessions. A harmonical display of cultural affinity was observed in Global Village and everyone were engrossed in team building games the following evening. Expert Sessions from veterans in the areas of discussion were invited where they presented a very precise and contemporary picture of the world today. Experts also presented the work that various international agencies were doing to solve the issue.

EIMUN 2019 hosted a special UN Panel Discussion where High Dignitaries from several UN Agencies were invited to participate in an panel discussion where they presented some of the work that they were currently involved in and later addressed the questions by the fellow delegates.

EIMUN 2019 was a wholesome experience of rich cultural harmony and intellectual integrity. The committees came up with substantial resolutions providing that the conference met all of its set goals.

EIMUN 2018

With the theme “Engage, Educate and Empower” EIMUN 2018 had around 200 delegates coming from 15 different countries, having meaningful discussions and heated debates on some of the major world issues, proposing solutions and at the end of the day coming to a consensus and drafting the resolution. Delegates from South and Central Asia showcased their diplomacy and negotiation skills in the committee sessions whereas outside committee sessions, they could be seen forming bonds and networking.What made this EIMUN exceptional was the global village program.Global Village was an exposition of diversity and a celebration of cultures brought by the gathering of all delegates for cultural understanding to share and celebrate each other's cultures.

EIMUN 2017

Series of MUN workshops led the path to EIMUN 2017 setting a benchmark for international conferences henceforth to be conducted in Nepal. From the 16th to the 19th of July, 2017; while the world was running its usual course, 200 youths from 12 different countries were engulfed in the task of discussing the most imperative global issues to provide innovative yet practicable solutions. Young leaders from South and Central Asia acquired the perfect impression of the way their paradigm ought to be set for the necessary sustainable development of these regions. The 14 national and 3 international scholarships provided made the opportunity available to proficient youths.

EIMUN 2016

The relevance of EIMUN 2016-Regional edition lies in the similarities shared by countries in South and Central Asia and Africa in terms of socio-cultural and geo-political aspects. Addressing prevalent problems with a collaborative like-mindedness has become imperative for securing sustainable development of these regions. Hence, from the 15th to the 19th of August, 2016, 180 participants from 8 different countries participated in hearty discussions and debate with the sole motive to garner diplomatic skills by simulating the UN committees. Altogether 4 UN committees were simulated where participants regardless, of what bound them, discussed on some of the most severe issues of 2016. The scholarships provided by the gracious donors helped the participants overcome their financial boundaries.

EIMUN 2015

“Preservation and Perseverance: Keys to Sustainable World Future”.

The theme for EIMUN 2015, the second rendition of the Everest International Model United Nations fostered immense enhancement of diplomatic skill-set of young leaders. 150 participants from 18 distinct countries engaged in numerous remarkable discussions in the conspicuous attempt to simulate 4 discrete UN committees. The rigor put into research prior the conference was rightly met as EIMUN 2015 could delightfully instill noteworthy assets in its participants, proving itself to be a great progress since EIMUN 2014. With a respectable amount of scholarships provided to the youths hailing from developing nations, it substantiated, yet again, a process of education must witness no restraints!

EIMUN 2014

The first ever international MUN organized by Nepalese students, the Everest International Model United Nations (EIMUN 2014) witnessed a fervent participation of 150 youths from eight different nations. With its sole foundation based on the three pillars: availability, accessibility and affordability, it reached out to an extensively diversified group of keen youths regardless of the differences they possessed. The solitary but foremost resemblance of the aspiration to get the stimulating experience of MUN made the differences seem trivial. Furthermore, the reservations and the scholarships by our benign donors, helped overcome the restrictions for dreamers to become achievers.
